Zolaras (Lady Death)Goddess of Death, the Dead, and the Undead |
|
Zolaras holds dominion over everything to do with death. She controls every creature's actual death, handles their souls after they are dead, and allows some creatures to exist as undead. She knows that everything eventually comes to her. She is worshipped by those expecting death, those mourning the death of others, and intelligent undead. She is the twin sister of the goddess Asis. Her priests, who dress in blacks and silvers, are all femails and are said to have the dead serving them as guards and servants. | Priest Features: Chosen of Zolaras: All clerics of Zolaras are female. Divine Presence: A priestess of Zolaras can turn or rebuke undead as if she were 2 levels higher. The cleric also does an extra 1d6 turning damage. Divine Animation: Undead creatures animated or created by a priestess of Zolaras are special. Instead of negative energy bringing them to "life", they are animated by their own former souls (who were commanded to return by Zolaras). Such creatures are still harmed by positive energy and can be turned as normal, but they remain animated for only 1 day per cleric level and can only be animated once. This animation is not considered an evil act. Shielded Soul: Starting at 5th level, a priestess of Zolaras is immune to energy and ability draining from the touch, spells, or other abilities of undead. | ||
