Gauntlet of the Sword

This single gauntlet appears to be very well made, even masterwork. Constructed of polished steel attached to finely cured leather, it would look appropriate on the hand of any noble warrior. An aura of conjuration magic surrounds it (if viewed with detect magic).

As a free action, the wearer of this item can cause an ornate long sword +3 to appear in his hand. The sword immediately vanishes and reappears in the wearer's hand if it is ever disarmed or destroyed (via mundane or magical means). The sword can be dismissed at any time as another free action.

The sword is actually created by the gauntlet. Should the gauntlet ever be destroyed, the sword will also be destroyed.
