Opal Egg of Magic's End

This powerful magical item is crafted from a single huge opal, the size and shape of a chicken's egg. The egg can only be used once, then it loses all of it's magial power (although it could be enchanted as another such item).

When held aloft and the proper command word spoken aloud, the egg releases a blinding white light and a wave of force in a sphere of 30' radius. All creatures within the area of effect are knocked to the ground, but are unharmed. During the split second when the light fills the area, everything inside (except the user and his or her items) is subjected to a mordenkainen's disjunction, as cast by a 17th level wizard.

This extremely rare and potent item can be used by anyone, provided they know and can speak the command word.
