This unusual weapon is a long sword carved from a single piece of fine maple, etched with mystic runes inlaid with silver, and sharped to a magically hard edge with the strength of magical steel.

This weapon is a keen long sword +3. When within 100 yards of any type of vampire, it glows with silvery faerie fire. When used against vampires, vampire spawn, or half-vampires, the weapon can make critical hits. A sucessful critical hit indicates either decapitation or a strike through the heart, either of which automatically slays the vampire instantly.
