While this spell is in effect, any alchemical reactions started by the caster happen with greater ease and control. As long as he remains within 20 feet of his work, the caster gains a +1 circumstance bonus to any and all Alchemy checks on that work. This bonus increases as the caster gains power, granting a total bonus of +1 per 2 caster levels (maximum +10 at 20th level).

If the caster moves more than 20 feet from his work while it is in progress, any Alchemy checks related to that work do not gain any benefit from this magic. This issue does not apply to alchemical items if their reactions depend on use beyond the Alchemy check, such as the exposure of alchemist fire to air (the spell has its effect when the item is made, not when it is used).
