This spell creates the belief in the victims' minds that dangerous creatures are watching them closely from just beyond their range of sight. The victims are constantly kept on edge, and are unable to benefit from rest or sleep. For the duration of this spell, the victims do not gain any healing by rest, and they are unable to regain spellcasting ability by rest or sleep.

A successful saving throw means that a particular victim can rest and sleep despite the watching eyes. This does not benefit others who may be affected by the same spell.

If a victim is targeted by this spell another time, he gains a +2 bonus to his saving throw against it for each previous time he was subject to it (it gets easier to resist as the victim becomes used to the watching eyes).
