You create a field of sparkling golden dust that drapes you like a long cloak, which constantly ripples and flows as if being blown by wind. The mystical cloak stays in effect for up to 10 minutes per caster level.

The magical cloak instantly moves and solidifies a portion of itself to intercept any object or creature that would strike you, providing a +3 shield bonus to your AC. In addition to granting this bonus, should you be struck with a sneak attack, the cloak has a 50% chance of dulling the attack, negating half of the bonus damage dice from the attack (rounded down, +2d6 becomes a +1d6, +5d6 becomes a +3d6, etc.)

Focus: A brooch or pin in the shape of a shield, fashioned from gold, costing at least 50 gp.
