Hunter Demon
Hunter demons are muscular humanoids standing 6 to 7 feet tall, with dark red skin covered in black tattoos. They are hairless, but have two small horns growing from their heads, claw-like fingernails, and sharp pointed teeth. They usually dress in black clothing and carry a unique black double crossbow and a black sickle. Their eyes glow with faint red light if angered. These creatures, often hired or commissioned as assassins, are bound by honor. Even when hunting down a victim, they merely kill. They never humiliate a foe, and will fight face to face if challenged. Combat: Hunter demons are expert marksmen and usually attack from a distance, closing for melee only if the situation warrants. Invisibility (Su): Hunter demons can turn invisible at will as if using the spell of the same name cast by a 20th level sorcerer. This ability can be used as a move equivalent action. Empower Bolt (Su): Hunter demons can empower a single crossbow bolt at a time with mystical energy. Each demon must concentrate for at least one round, after which the bolt is surrounded with a faint blue aura for 2 rounds. This aura causes 1d6 points of energy damage (either electricity, fire, or cold) per round of concentration (up to 6 rounds) to be added to the damage caused by the bolt. Use the Concentration rules for spellcasters if the demons are interrupted in this (DC = 10 + damage dealt + 2). Spell Resistance (Ex): Hunter demons are resistant to magical spells and effects. They have spell resistance 15.
