A relative of the horrible blue dragon, the blue drake is a smaller version, more wild and less intelligent. They range in color from deep midnight blue to light sky blue. They are strong flyers and usually spend several hours each day in flight while looking for prey.

Blue drakes live in pretty much any type of desert, but are fond of sandy deserts. They often claim territories near an oasis. Solitary creatures, they will only tolerate each other long enough to mate.

Combat: When attacking, blue drakes will usually make use of their fearsome claws and teeth, striking with each once per round. Should they feel that they might be in danger, they will use their breath weapon. They are cowardly beings, and will flee from battle if they feel the need.
Breath Weapon (Ex): Each blue drake is able to spit a bolt of lightning, up to once per minute, at one or more creatures. This bolt is a foot in diameter and up to 40' long, causing 6d6 points of damage (Reflex save DC: 16 for half).
Electricity Immunity (Ex): Blue drakes are totally immune to damage from any type of electricity.
Spell Resistance (Ex): Blue drakes are resistant to magical spells and effects, due to their draconic heritage. They have spell resistance 10.
