A relative of the fearsome white dragon, the white drake is a smaller version, more wild and less intelligent. They are always a bright white in color. They rarely fly, as their wings are not strong or powerful.

White drakes can and will live in any area with cold temperatures, ice, and snow. They will often migrate south as winter spreads it's effects. These creatures are not harmed by a temperate climate, but they dislike it. They typically have lairs within ice caves where they bring their often-frozen prey to eat or store.

White drakes are the most social of the drakes, sometimes forming packs that will absorb solitary drakes into their ranks. Due to their smaller size and ability to swim and fish, they usually have no trouble staying in one area for years.

These creatures are much like wolves in their behavior, but are very aggressive. They will hunt down and eat anything they can get their claws and teeth on, including humans.

Combat: When attacking, white drakes will usually use their breath weapon before closing to make use of their sharp claws and teeth, striking with each once per round. They will flee battle if they feel they are starting to lose.
Breath Weapon (Ex): Each white drake can breath out a cloud of white frost in a cone 20 feet long and 20 feet wide at the base up to once per three rounds. All those caught in the cloud suffer 3d6 points of cold damage. A successful Reflex save (DC: 14) means the victims suffer only half damage.
Cold Immunity (Ex): White drakes are totally immune to damage from any type of cold.
Spell Resistance (Ex): White drakes are resistant to magical spells and effects, due to their draconic heritage. They have spell resistance 5.
