Miniature Golem
These very small creatures appear to be three inch tall statuettes made of stone. Their appearance varies considerably, but all have a basic humanoid shape (2 arms, 2 legs, a torso, and a head). These creatures follow the orders of their creator (or owner) and are often used to perform minor tasks such as pushing open doors, moving small items from place to place, or carrying messages. Their unusual strength for their size means they can move suprisingly heavy objects. Combat: A miniature golem attacks those it is instructed to by quickly striking with is stone fists. While not intelligent, it is programmed to move around an opponent that is facing more than one enemy so as to gain a flanking bonus to its attacks. A miniature golem will often attack from above or from hidden locations. Damage Reduction (Ex): A miniature golem's magically hard body prevents many weapons from causing it harm. Non-magical weapons or those with less than a +2 enhancement bonus inflict 30 less points of damage per strike. Magic Immunity (Ex): A miniature golem is immune to all spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural effects, except as follows. A transmute rock to mud spell slows it (as the slow spell) for 4d6 rounds, with no saving throw. A transmute mud to rock spell heals all of its lost hit points. A stone to flesh changes the creature to one of flesh for 1d4 rounds, during which it becomes vulnerable to normal weapons and spells which directly cause damage. Construct (Ex): Immune to mind-affecting effects, poison, disease, and similar effects. Not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, energy drain, or death from massive damage.
