Locations of Interest: Fishhead's Inn & Tavern (in Macedone)

Fishhead's is the cheapest place in all of the city of Macedone to get a room to stay and a drink. It is a poorly built structure supported largely by the buildings on all sides. Only the door is visible from the street. The place is located near the docks, and is popular with sailors, adventurers, and nobles out "slumming". It is rather dark, and it smells of years of poor cleaning. It was originally built by Cornelius "Fishhead" Piscin, an ex-adventurer and pirate, nearly 70 years ago.

Anyone can rent a room for 5 sp per person per night. Rooms come only with a rusted and dented chamber pot, a shallow box of straw and a blanket for a bed, and a door with a high quality lock built in (Open Locks DC: 25) that locks only from the inside or with a key carried only by the innkeeper.

In a back room behind the bar is the "play room", a room designed around "the Ring". The Ring is 10' x 10' roped off space for anyone to fight in. The only fights allowed are non-magical, unarmed, unarmored battles, and betting on them is encouraged. Another hidden room is often referred to as the "room that isn't there", where gambling and illegal deals are usually performed.

Besides being the center of the universe for a great many people, Fishhead's is famous for an alcoholic drink developed by the original innkeeper. Fishhead's Oil is a thick golden liquid (similar in color and consistency to maple syrup) filled with tiny black flecks, and it smells strongly of fish oil. The potent liquid is difficult to drink, and once imbibed causes intoxication within 5 minutes (which can be avoided with a successful Fortitude save at DC: 25). This intoxication causes a -3 enhancement penalty to attack rolls, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Wisdom, and a +2 enchancement bonus to morale for 6 hours. If exposed to open fire, Fishhead's Oil burns like alchemist fire for 1 round per pint. A 1/2 pint costs 1 gp.
