School Supplies
Wish List
The following are not allowed to be visible in my classroom in the possession of students, and will either be confiscated or thrown in the garbage:

• gum
- chewing gum is not allowed at school (in the room or outside)

• beverages other than plain water (this includes Gatorade, vitamin water, Kool-Aid, soda, etc.)
- any beverage besides plain water must remain in lunch bags or backpacks until lunch time

• cell phones, pagers
- students need the principal's permission AND a note from home to be allowed to have these at school (and they need to be turned off and out of sight at all times)
- these will be confiscated and a parent will have to come to school to pick them up from the office

• mp3 players (iPods and other brands)
- these will be confiscated and a parent will have to come to school to pick them up from the office

• cameras (digital or film, still or video)
- these will be confiscated and a parent will have to come to school to pick them up from the office

• Nintendo DS
- chatting/texting during class has become a problem, so these stay at home now
- these will be confiscated and a parent will have to come to school to pick them up from the office

• permanent markers
- these are no longer allowed due to vandalism within the classroom by one or more 6th graders
