Player Information: This page lists several bits of information that some Players may have a question about. Piety Score: As you show your devotion to your patron deity, you gain "points" with your god or goddess. This is reflected in your Piety Score. Each time you sacrifice an enemy's remains or an item with the sacrificial flame there is a chance you will gain one or more points. When you sacrifice gold at an altar to your deity, you gain points. When you offer a prayer of praise at an altar to your deity, you gain points. When you build up enough points, you can gain a favor from your patron deity. You can ask for a favor at an altar dedicated to your deity. If you have enough points built up, you can gain a temporary boon. This drains all the points you had accumulated. If you die and choose to walk to the dais at the far end of the Great Hall of Zolaras, having enough points will automatically bring favor from your patron deity, and he or she will return a portion of the xp you lost through dying. This drains all the points you had accumulated. |
