Items and Objects:

Aenea is filled with all manner of magical objects, be it items a person can carry around or objects a character must travel to in order to see or use. There are also many non-magical objects which may not behave exactly like those in other gameworlds.

Use the links on the left side menu of this page to learn about some of the objects in Aenea.

Although the World of Aenea does not use Bioware's Item Level Restrictions, there are some items that require you to be of a certain level to use. Such an item will automatically be unequipped should you attempt to use it.

Items and Objects of Interest:

Headband of Intellect: This handy item can increase the number and power of spells a wizard can cast, improved various skills, and just make a character look better.

Weapons: Powerful weapons of all sorts, most of them unique to this world, can be discovered in ancient tombs, in the hoards of dragons, or even in the hands of dangerous enemies.

Ioun Stones: These magical stones circle the owner's head and provide various sorts of magical effects, from increased strength to protection from harm to the ability to forgo food. In Aenea, they are controlled via a menu through the green character crystal. {Video}

Wands: Important to wizards and other spellcasters, wands can be found in countless varieties across the lands. They are used to case spells multiple times without tiring the spellcaster wielding them..

Asis Potion of Curing Light Wounds: Healing potions created by the priesthood of Asis are more potent than those made by other clerics. This particular potion heals up to 13 hit points of damage.

Asis Potion of Curing Moderate Wounds: Healing potions created by the priesthood of Asis are more potent than those made by other clerics. This particular potion heals up to 21 hit points of damage.

Asis Potion of Curing Serious Wounds: Healing potions created by the priesthood of Asis are more potent than those made by other clerics. This particular potion heals up to 29 hit points of damage.

Asis Potion of Curing Critical Wounds: Healing potions created by the priesthood of Asis are more potent than those made by other clerics. This particular potion heals up to 39 hit points of damage.

Asis Potion of Full Healing: Such wondrous potions can only be distilled by the most powerful of Healers of Asis. Each such bottle holds the most potent of healing magics, able to mend almost all wounds, defeat diseases and poisons, and cure blindness and deafness in a single use.

Ring of Sustenance: This wondrous piece of jewelry must be worn to be effective. It allows the wearer to rest without the use of food and water.

Potion of Magic Renewal: Imbibing this wondrous potion will fully restore the spellcasting abilities of any spellcaster as if he or she had sleep a full night.

Contract of Translocation: This magical paper can be used to bind a person temporarily to a location. Executing the contract after it has been made will instantly bring the owner back to that location once. This item can be re-used if recharged at an altar to Mystara.

Boots of Striding and Springing: These boots allow the wearer to run faster than normal and make more difficult jumps. These are a must for any serious explorer.

Blood of Magic: This rare gemstone is used in the enchanting of magical items.

Soulgem: Very rare, these gems allow the bearer to better learn from his or her experiences, actually granting a bonus to XP once enough are collected.

Helm of Water Breathing: Wearing this will allow a person to travel underwater without drowning.

Zolaras' Gift: This item basically lets a dead person cast raise dead on their own corpse. This returns them to life where they died, with 1 hit point, recovering 75% of the XP lost due to dying. It can be used only in the Great Hall of Zolaras.

Ointment of Stone Softening: This thick gel, which smells like rotting fish, can be used several times to return a petrified creature to flesh.

Belt of Many Pouches: Like the much more common bag of holding, this belt can actually hold other items in an extradimensional space. It can also be worn to free up space in your pack.
