Player Character Tools:

There are several tools for players in-game. Here are instructions on using some of them.

Sacrifical Flame

The green sacrificial flame is a PC tool for those that wish to show devotion to their patron deity, get small rewards, and rid Aenea of unsightly remains lying around on the ground. You have a few options when using this tool.

Option 1: Use the flame on the "remains" of an enemy. This will destroy everything on that enemy's corpse and sacrifice its soul to your patron deity. You might be rewarded with a few xp, a few gp, or gain points with your deity.

Option 2: Use the flame on yourself. This will instantly sacrifice all the the remains within about 10 meters of you. This is basically just a quick "mass sacrifice".

Option 3: Use the flame on an item in your inventory. You can sacrifice an individual item from your inventory by using the flame on it.

Treasure Splitter

The treasure splitter is an important PC tool for those that work together in groups or parties. It provides a quick and easy way to divide gold (and treasure) between all party members.

You have a couple of options when using this tool. The first choice is to use the tool on yourself, which will open the dialog you see here.

Dialog choices:
1. This takes all the gold you have gained since you set your current gold as "yours" and splits it between all the members of your party (including yourself). Use this to split up all that gold you loot from your enemies.

2. This option sets your current gold as "yours" so that it will not be counted when splitting recently gained gold (option 1). Do this as soon as you join a party so that you don't accidently share all the gold you had before.

3. This option takes your share of the gold and adds it to your current total gold. This also sets the new total as "yours", so it won't be shared with the group next time you split gold. This one can be delayed indefinitely.

Another thing you can do with the treasure splitter is lighten your load. Use it on an item in your inventory to destroy that item and split a part of its "gold piece value" with everyone in the group (without having to trek back to town to sell it first). You won't get as much as if you were to sell it to a merchant, but it's faster. Also, if the item is not identified first, you won't get much from it.

All of the money in your share of the "pool" is safe as long as it stays there. You can even log out and come back days later. Switching parties will not affect your "share". The value is stored in the game's database until you take your share.
