Gort (The Wanderer) God of Horses, Travelers, Nomads, and the Lost Usually called upon by those moving from one place to another, Gort is the god of all travel. He is worshipped by all races, especially those such as centaurs and others with relations to horses. He is prayed to when undertaking a long or dangerous journey. He helps those that are lost find their way home and those that need to to become lost. His priests, dressed in oranges and browns, are often seen walking, running, or riding great distances for any number of reasons. Priesthood of Gort Titles: Horseman, Horsewoman, Wanderer, Trailmaster, or Trailmistress Priests of Gort can be found all over the world, as theirs is a life of travel. Many are great distance runners, and they are often hired as messengers. They may be counted on to help the lost, but some of them are themselves purposefully lost. They are often garbed in the oranges and browns of the road and the sunset. Special: Clerics that choose Gort as their deity do not have to eat or drink, requiring no sustenance to sleep. Alignment Restrictions: None Granted Spells: Upon attaining the listed levels, the cleric is able to cast each of the following granted spells once per day. Level 3: expeditious retreat Level 6: haste Level 10: freedom of movement Level 14: teleport Level 18: word of recall Favored Weapon: Quarterstaff Followers Follower Alignment Restrictions: None Favor for Followers: By calling on Gort (VC command: ;;god bless me), pious followers may be granted a divine favor. The possibilities: - Travel: transference (piety cost: 50 - be sure to use the Select Location tool/feat to pick a spot to travel to) - Equine Travel: gift of a horse and saddle (piety cost: 50) |
