She controls every creature's actual death, handles their souls after they are dead, and allows some creatures to exist as undead. She knows that everything eventually comes to her. She is worshipped by those expecting death, those mourning the death of others, and intelligent undead. She is the twin sister of the goddess Asis. Her priests are all females and are said to have the dead serving them as guards and servants. Priesthood of Zolaras Titles: Deathsinger, Speaker for the Dead, or Soulguard Priestesses of Zolaras are often found in places that house the dead. They preside over funerals and burial rites, and they are often the only ones available that can return the dead to life. Often protected by skeletal guardians, they hold power over the undead. Some priestesses of the goddess of death actively bring forth undead upon the world, while others hunt the creatures down to send them back to their goddess. Priestesses of Zolaras are often garbed in the black hues of eternal night and silvers of peaceful stars. Special: Zolaras favors females for her clergy: male clerics of Zolaras cannot advance beyond 1st level or cast spells. Clerics become immune to death magic and level/ability draining upon reaching 5th level. Clerics of Zolaras turn or rebuke undead as if they were 2 levels higher. Alignment Restrictions: None Granted Spells: Upon attaining the listed levels, the cleric is able to cast each of the following granted spells once per day. Level 3: animate dead Level 6: create undead Level 10: create greater undead Level 14: control undead Level 18: summon skeletal guardian Favored Weapon: Mace Followers Follower Alignment Restrictions: None Favor for Followers: By calling on Zolaras (VC command: ;;god bless me), pious followers may be granted a divine favor. The possibilities: - Undead Aid: summon an undead skeleton to protect and fight for the PC (piety cost: 2-24)
