Each usually disguises itself as a beneficial magical item, even to such abilities as identify and legend lore. Once wielded, donned, or used, such items reveal their true nature. To get rid of such vile items, you must go to the Temple of Fate in Macedone with at least 10,000 gp. Speaking with the priest there will remove and destroy all of your cursed items for a single large donation.
