Items and Objects: Altars Most religions make use of altars of some sort, and in Aenea this is no different. Each of the twenty deities has altars and temples dedicated to them, often decorated with the holy symbol of that deity. Player characters in Aenea can make use of any altar by clicking on it. Doing so will bring up options based on the deity the altar is dedicated to and the patron deity of the character. Prayers: Any character can offer a prayer to any of the twenty deities. While each character has a single patron deity, each deity has their own aspect of the world they influence and they appreciate prayers from anyone. Desecration: It is not wise to desecrate the altars of the gods, especially if such an altar is dedicated to the worship of the character's patron deity. Two deities, Ragnor and Sorgath, do not mind the desecration of altars blessed by priests of other gods. |
