Vampire Vampires (the PC subrace) result from a person being killed by (and NPC) vampire sometime in their past, and that person returning almost to life, but not completely. (PC) Vampires share some traits with full vampires, such as their vulnerability to silver, holy energies, and sunlight, but also have freedoms that full vampires do not, such as the ability to go unharmed immersed in running water, to freedom to rest without need of a coffin or grave, and the freedom of not having to obey the vampire that "sired" him or her. Note: In game, a PC vampire can acquire cosmetic fangs via the ;;vfx face fangs VC command, and can bite nearby creatures for a tiny amount of damage with the ;;tool bite command. Advantages: +2 to Strength +2 to Charisma Damage Reduction 5/+1 +25% Speed Increase Regeneration: 1 hitpoint per minute (at night) Spell-like Ability: Cast dominate person 1 time per day Spell-like Ability: Cast dominate animal 2 times per day Disadvantages: Burned by Daylight (25% of maximum hitpoints per round) Bloodthirst (need to drink blood just before resting, mental penalties if badly wounded, and drinking blood heals the vampire) Silver Vulnerability (suffer extra damage from silver weapons) Hurt by Healing Spells and Kits 25% XP Penalty Available To: Dwarf, Elf, Fae, Gnome, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, or Human |
